Celebrities are too privileged to understand why the trans debate matters so much to women, campaigning MP Rosie Duffield has said.Duffield – who was ostracised in the Labour party over her position on trans women before she quit last September – said she took a stand on behalf of “ordinary workers whose names we don’t know”.Her comments come after actor Pedro Pascal dubbed JK Rowling a “heinous loser” after the Harry Potter author celebrated the UK Supreme Court’s ruling last week that trans women are not legally women.Duffield told GB News’ Chopper’s Political Podcast: “Celebs do get behind this, don’t they? We saw the way J.K. Rowling was disowned by her own. “That is an important point.
