Pussycat Doll turned superstar DJ Kimberly Wyatt is hitting the decks at this year’s SHEIN Women’s Football Awards next week.

The glitzy bash, dubbed ‘the Oscars of women’s football’, returns to London on Thursday 1 May, with Metro serving as media partner.

Hits Radio host Kimberly, best known for her chart-topping hits with the Pussycat Dolls, will be spinning the tunes with a high profile DJ set as the footballing world’s finest come together for the major event.

‘I can’t wait to perform at this year’s Women’s Football Awards! I’m incredibly excited for what’s set to be a phenomenal night, celebrating the winners and all the inspiring role models who are driving women’s football forward,’ Wyatt said.

The awards will be hosted by a trio of sporting royalty including BBC broadcasting legend Gabby Logan, Sky Sports presenter Jamie Carragher, and former Lioness Eni Aluko, who are coming together to celebrate the players, clubs and community football heroes who’ve made a huge impact on and off the pitch.

And it’s not just football royalty turning out for the glammed-up gala. A host of top celebrities are expected to walk the red carpet, with Spice Girl Melanie C, TV star Myleene Klass, pop favourite Pixie Lott, TV presenters Alex Scott, Roman Kemp and many more big names tipped to attend.

‘The Women’s Football Awards is Europe’s biggest celebration of the women’s game and every year, it just gets bigger and better,’ co-host Aluko added.

‘We’re thrilled to have Gabby Logan joining the hosting line-up this year, and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt spinning the decks at the after-party.

‘We’ve got a hugely exciting event in store.  I’m proud to be part of this incredible celebration of success across women’s football once again.’

Women’s football stars nominated for awards this year include Chelsea’s Lauren James, Keira Walsh, and Aggie Beever-Jones.

Meanwhile, Arsenal powerhouse Alessia Russo, Manchester United star Grace Clinton and Bayern Munich’s Georgia Stanway are all in the running for accolades.

Football trailblazer and Lioness Keira Walsh is set to receive a special recognition award at the event.

Brands and organisations, including Three UK, Adobe, Lidl, Victoria’s Secret and Sky Sports are also shortlisted for their commitment to promoting women in football.

As well as online fashion retailer SHEIN, other high-profile sponsors for the event include The Premier League, VISA and Scottish Power.
