Viewers of the hit ITV drama, Protection, are convinced that Amy is harbouring a big secret after spotting a significant issue in the case. The gripping series returned to our telly screens on Monday (March 17) night for another thrilling episode.
The show draws inspiration from the experiences of a seasoned witness protection officer and delves into the murky world of crime and corruption, with Siobhan Finneran leading the cast as DI Liz Nyles.
In tonight’s episode, DI Liz was on high alert following a warning from DS Paul Brandice advising her not to trust anyone. To add to the tension, young Amy finds herself in grave danger as the only potential witness to the attack on her family, but it quickly becomes apparent that she’s reluctant to share any information.
During her police interview, they try to extract as much information from the young girl that could help crack the case, but Amy insists she didn’t see anything.

On their way back from the police interview, Liz’s car is tailed by another driver, presumably a hitman. In a heart-stopping chase scene, Liz and Amy are forced to pull over as they try to evade their pursuer, reports the Mirror.
They manage to get Amy to safety, but the identity of the mystery man remains unknown. Things go from bad to worse for Liz when her daughter comes home from her dad’s to find Amy staying with them in her bedroom.
The latest episode of the show has left fans convinced that Amy is concealing a major secret, with many pointing out inconsistencies in her story.
