Netanyahu flight to Washington rerouted over fear of arrest in Europe, envoy to US says

Israel’s ambassador to the US, Yehiel Leiter, says that due to the prime minister’s medical condition during his last trip to the US and concerns about a possible emergency landing, ‘Wing of Zion’ flew over US military bases since Netanyahu could not land ‘anywhere in Europe’ without being arrested
