New Orleans planned security system not equipped to withstand speeding vehicles: Report

At least 14 people were killed and about 30 others injured when a man drove a pickup truck into a crowd in New Orleans’ French Quarter and opened fire. The city had previously planned to install new street barriers that could only withstand impacts up to 10 mph, highlighting a security planning flaw.
