About 300 North Korea soldiers sent to Russia for the war against Ukraine have been killed and 2,700 wounded, South Korean lawmakers briefed by the country’s spy agency said on Monday.
“North Korean forces’ area of engagement is expanding to the entire Kursk region (in Russia), and the casualties among the North Korean forces are estimated to have exceeded 3,000, with around 300 deaths and approximately 2,700 wounded,” Lee Seong Kweun told reporters after the briefing by the National Intelligence Service.
