Donald Trump Saturday announced a position for an attorney once called “the most prolific Trump-world warrior you’ve never heard of.”
Stanley Woodward, a veteran attorney who has recently taken on clients ranging from Jan. 6 rioters to ex-Trump aides, has been described as a “legal nerd” for MAGA. He also represented various defendants in connection with Trump’s criminal documents case.
On Friday, the president-elect revealed that Woodward would serve in his upcoming administration, according to Hugo Lowell, senior political correspondent for The Guardian.

“Trump announces that lawyer Stanley Woodward, who represented Walt Nauta and Kash Patel among others in the classified docs case, will be Sr Counselor working with the Chief of Staff,” Lowell reported on social media.
He added:
“Nick Luna and Beau Harrison will return to the Trump WH as Deputy Chiefs of Staffs: Luna for presidential scheduling and messaging, Harrison for operations. Robert Gabriel is returning as Assistant to the President for policy.”
