During his 2024 campaign, Donald Trump made a concerted effort to distance himself from Project 2025 — the Heritage Foundation’s controversial, far-right 920-page blueprint for a second Trump Administration. Trump obviously viewed Project 2025 as a political liability, claiming that he had “nothing to do” with it and knew nothing about it.
