The US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit on Thursday denied Donald Trump allies — ex-aide Walt Nauta, and former Mar-a-Lago employee Carlos de Oliveira — their request to block the release of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s report on his investigation into Donald Trump’s alleged 2020 election interference, CBS News reports.The pair was charged alongside the president-elect “for their role in allegedly obstructing a separate federal investigation into Trump’s handling of sensitive government records,” the news outlet notes.
