Many fans were disappointed that Chris is not taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour
Strictly Come Dancing champions Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell teased reuniting following a joint career announcement made on Instagram. Following their close-knit friendship which developed during the series, fans are keen to see more of the pair away from Strictly.
Taking to Instagram, they posted a video compilation made up of all of their funny moments from behind the scenes training for the BBC show. Chris and Dianne were active on Instagram and TikTok throughout the Strictly Come Dancing series, with fans waiting each day for a hilarious video and an insight into their real personalities away from the ballroom.
A fan favourite included a ‘Guess the flavour of the KitKat’ skit on TikTok. However, their videos proved left fans wanting more than just a short clip.
Dianne captioned the video post on Instagram: “Want more of this nonsense? Chris and Dianne are going to be hooking up for a weekly publicly available catch up, otherwise known as a PODCAST. First episode out in just four days and counting.
If you’ve got any questions for us, put them here and we will try to get around to answering some on the pod. See you all on Thursday. We can’t wait! X Details on name and where to find it soon”
Chris, 47, responded to the joint announcement in the comments. He said: “And of course we will have to start with a recap of that final won’t we. Can’t wait partner!”
Fans took to the comments to express their delight in seeing the pair continue their friendship after the end of the series. One said: “omg this is going to be so fun!! can’t wait to listen, it’s going to be like strictly never finished!” Another added: “BEST NEWS EVER!!!! I’m so excited”
No doubt many Strictly fans will be tuning in to episode one to hear all about Chris and Dianne’s reaction to taking home the glitterball. Many fans were disappointed that Chris is not taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour because he is touring his own stand-up show. The arena tour kicked off this weekend in Birmingham, and is set to arrive at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on January 28 and 29.
Dianne regularly shares vlogs to social media and even keeps fans up to date with videos uploaded to her own YouTube account. In her latest video, she said: “Chris can’t do [the tour]. It’s actually been really tough for me to see everyone else with their partners and to know that Chris can’t do it. It has been really tough.”
The Australian continued: “However, I’m really excited to still be a part of it and very very grateful for that.”
