Storm Éowyn: Red warning in effect for 12 counties

A red level wind warning has come into effect for counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Galway, Clare, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo as Storm Éowyn hits the country, bringing gusts registering as high as 174km/h on the west coast.
