DPP appeals the leniency of Crotty sentence

The Court of Appeal intends to give its decision later today in an appeal by the Director of Public Prosecutions against the leniency of a three-year suspended sentence imposed on former soldier, Cathal Crotty for beating a woman unconscious in a random attack.
