US consumer sentiment has declined overall in January, making it the first decline in six months. Reason for this is that there are concerns about unemployment and the impact of the potential tariffs on inflation, specifically lifting prices. Adding to that uncertainty, the new 2025 cash poor report says “58% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.
