The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a watershed conditions statement due to anticipated rainfall and current ground conditions, warning residents about potential localised flooding and slippery conditions. Environment Canada has also warned of up to 40 mm of rain in parts of Ontario and freezing rain in eastern regions such as the Ottawa Valley.
