A former Missouri Republican candidate who went viral for extreme, hate-filled stunts this year appears to be gearing up for a new campaign in Texas — and she kicked it off with a video stunt so graphic and horrifying that even Elon Musk’s X platform restricted it.Valentina Gomez, a real estate investor and former college swimmer known for her far-right views, posted a video of herself shooting a dummy tied to a chair in the back of the head. “It’s that simple, public executions for any illegal that rapes or kills an American. They don’t deserve deportation, they deserve to be ended,” Gomez said.Despite Musk’s adoption of extremely hands-off policies that have allowed extremist and even pro-Nazi content to be shared freely on the site, Gomez’s simulated execution was too graphic even for X, and the video was promptly restricted under the site’s violence policy.ALSO READ: Presidential run eyed for ‘relentless’ Dem gov who beat brutal GOP opposition in key stateShe responded by posting, “My video being restricted & my account getting suspended shows all of you that I am the biggest threat to the establishment because I call it like I see it, I give people hope, and I don’t need their money. Remember, nobody is coming to save us. Stay strapped.” Below that, she included video footage of the incident earlier this month in which a woman was fatally burned alive in a New York City subway car, allegedly by an unauthorized immigrant from Guatemala.Gomez previously ran for Missouri Secretary of State, where she attracted attention by using the slogan “Don’t be weak and gay,” filmed herself destroying LGBTQ-themed books with a flamethrower, and saying that “ungrateful” Black people should just leave America if they aren’t happy with how they’re treated. She ultimately came in sixth place in the Republican primary. She now says that she is preparing for a Congressional campaign in Texas. Specifically, she has clearly hinted at a primary challenge against Houston-area GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who, despite his right-wing voting record, has drawn ire from the far right over his support for Ukraine.“I’m running for Congress in Texas and I’m taking down a RINO and a dinosaur once and for all, because Congress is full of crooks like Speaker [Mike] Johnson, who is just a little man with no balls that funds Ukraine and betrays the American people every chance he gets,” said Gomez in another video uploaded to X last week. “And Dan Crenshaw, who is only good at betraying his fellow Navy SEALs.”
