Officers remain at the property and enquiries are ongoing
Ammunition, a blank firing revolver and suspected gunpowder were found at an empty property in south Liverpool. Merseyside Police attended the property in Waverley Road, Aigburth, on Wednesday, December 18.
Officers recovered the ammunition and blank firing revolver from the property. Today, Friday December 20, Matrix officers attended the scene and discovered a quantity of suspected gunpowder.
It is in the process of being examined and removed. Officers remain at the property and enquiries are ongoing, police said.
