The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene
A 17-year-old teenager was hit by a car in Netherley. Emergency services were called to the junction of Wood Lane and Peckmill Green at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, December 24.
Merseyside Police confirmed the boy sustained minor injuries. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and no arrests were made, police said. The road was closed by police while the incident was dealt with. Residents reported seeing multiple police cars, an ambulance and two ambulance cars at the scene.
