ITV Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win contestants miss out on chance to win £1.25 million
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have spoken about the “rare disagreement” they experienced while in the process of shooting the latest series of ITV game show Limitless Win.
The prime-time entertainment quiz show is back for its fourth season next weekend. Following a life-changing £1 million win last series, the highest cash prize in Limitless Win history, the stakes are higher than ever as new contestants gear up to tackle the limitless ladder.
Set to air in six prime-time hour-long episodes across Saturdays and Sundays in January, the innovative format with an endless money ladder allows contestants to compete for the world’s first unlimited jackpot.
In addition to hosting, the Geordie duo also take part in the gameplay with the inclusion of the Take Two lifeline.

Speaking about the part of the show where players can choose to turn to them for help, Dec said: “Well, it does affect your life, because you constantly go around looking at things and think ‘that would be a good Limitless question’.
“Must bank that. Must bank how long this Kit Kat Chunky is, or how many smarties are in this tube. You can tell I eat a lot of chocolate can’t you? “.
Ant said: “There were a couple of times this series where we actually overruled each other and we disagreed with each other, which is very rare. One of our answers ended up banking a massive sum of money.”
Dec added: “It was an answer we weren’t sure about either, and we um’ed and ah’ed about it for a long time. We ended up locking in our answer and we chose the right answer. But I won’t tell you how much it was for! “.
Ant revealed: “We played the lifeline quite a few times, and it’s always lovely when we can pull it off and win the big cash.”
