Hundreds of Kurdish people celebrated the fall of Bashar Assad’s regime in the city of Qamishli in northeastern Syria on Sunday. People celebrated the event by singing, firing guns into the air, and holding posters of the leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Abdullah Ocalan, who is imprisoned in Turkey.
