Trump promised to “help our country heal” and usher in a “golden age of America”. He vowed to fix borders and address critical issues facing the nation. His running mate, JD Vance, described Trump’s campaign as “the greatest political comeback” in American history, adding: “I appreciate you allowing me to join you on this incredible journey”.Unhappy with the news of Trump’s imminent win, comedian Manford took to his X account to share his disdain and penned: “Urgh I knew I’d wake up this morning to that psychopath being declared president!
