Victor Osimhen Set for a Major Move Post-Napoli Tenure

Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has confirmed his departure from Napoli at the season’s end, sparking widespread speculation about his next destination. Linked to top clubs like Chelsea and Real Madrid, Osimhen’s decision is a major talking point in the football world. Real Madrid views him as a “Plan B” if their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe falls through.

Osimhen, known for his lethal striking abilities, has had a strained relationship with Napoli, making his departure inevitable despite winning the Scudetto last season. Clubs from Saudi Arabia, with their lucrative offers, are also in contention. Osimhen, whose plans were reported by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, has an impressive record of 67 goals and 17 assists in 119 games over three and a half years with Napoli.

However, he still has two years remaining on his Napoli contract, meaning his transfer will involve significant compensation. Napoli’s current season struggles and Osimhen’s recent conflict with the team’s manager further fuel the anticipation of his next move.
