Tajon Buchanan, a highly sought-after player by Inter Milan, has finally finalized his move to the club. The transfer from Club Brugge has been confirmed, and it’s now just a matter of time before Inter officially unveils Buchanan in their club colors. After prolonged negotiations, Milan’s leadership has successfully completed the deal with Club Brugge. The transaction sees Club Brugge receiving seven million euros, plus additional earnings through bonuses.
Buchanan, versatile in playing both as a winger and a defender, brings significant flexibility to the Milan team. His proficiency on both sides of the field is well-regarded. His arrival at Inter serves as a replacement for the departing Cudrad, with the club placing high expectations on this young talent.
Born and raised in Brampton, Ontario, and of Jamaican descent, Buchanan began his soccer journey with Brampton Youth at the age of eight. His notable achievement includes winning the 2014 IMG Cup with the Mississauga Falcons. At 15, Buchanan moved to Colorado with his best friend and former coach, Chrys Chrysanthou, to join the USSDA academy Real Colorado. After three years, he transitioned to Syracuse University. His career saw him loaned to Sigma before being drafted to New England. In January 2022, Buchanan made his European debut with Club Brugge, where he has played until his recent transfer to Inter Milan.
