Emre Mor Poised for Fenerbahce Exit Amid Growing European Interest

Fenerbahce is abuzz with transfer activity. The club has recently welcomed the experienced Leonardo Bonucci and is also anticipating the arrival of BiH Radet Krunic. However, this influx of talent is accompanied by potential departures. Notably, 26-year-old Emre Mor is rumored to be exiting Fenerbahce.

The footballer joined from Karagumruk in July 2022, delivering a solid performance last season. Despite this, Mor has only appeared in four matches across all competitions this season, leading to growing dissatisfaction.

Seeking a change, Mor and his agent have arranged a meeting with Fenerbahce’s leadership to discuss his future. Interest in Mor has emerged from clubs in Germany and France, making his departure this winter a strong possibility.

As a member of the Turkish national team with 15 caps and one goal, Mor’s career has been diverse. He has played for several clubs, including Celta Vigo, Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, and Olympiacos, before joining Karagumruk.

Among the teams interested in Mor are Lens, Rennes, and Darmstadt. The outcome of the meeting with Fenerbahce’s management will be crucial, as Mor’s contract with the Istanbul giant extends until the summer of 2025. Fenerbahce is expected to negotiate a lucrative deal for any potential transfer.
