Jimmy Kimmel, the renowned television host, has issued a stern response to allegations made by Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the New York Jets. During an appearance on ESPN’s Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers suggested that Kimmel might be concerned about his name appearing on Jeffrey Epstein’s client list.
The list in question pertains to over 170 individuals linked in various capacities to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. These documents, which include names of associates, friends, or victims of Epstein, are scheduled to be made public following a court ruling in December. Individuals on the list were given a 14-day period to appeal the decision, indicating a likely release of details in early January.
Responding to Rodgers’ comments, Kimmel took to social media to vehemently deny any connection with Epstein. He stated that he has never met, flown with, visited, or had any contact with Epstein. Furthermore, Kimmel emphasized that his name would not appear on any list associated with Epstein, dismissing the allegations as baseless and fabricated by conspiracy theorists.
Kimmel, who is slated to host the Oscars for the fourth time in March, expressed that Rodgers’ comments have endangered his family. He warned Rodgers of potential legal action if such allegations continue.
The controversy follows previous tensions between Kimmel and Rodgers. Rodgers, known for his anti-vaccine stance, had been the subject of mockery on Kimmel’s show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Kimmel had labeled Rodgers a “tin-foil hatter,” referencing his unconventional views.
