Born in Berlin, Germany, and of Ghanaian descent, Diawusie was recognized as a considerable talent. He played for Germany’s U-15 and U-19 national teams and had a noteworthy career, playing for clubs such as Nurnberg, Leipzig, Wehen, Dynamo Dresden, and Austrian club Ried. This season, he made 16 appearances for Jahn Regensburg, with his last match being on November 4th against Munich 1860. Diawusie was not featured in the recent matches against Ulm and Dynamo Dresden, just days prior to this tragic announcement.
