Inter Milan has been making significant moves in the transfer market this summer, and their latest acquisition marks their fifth signing of the season. As the European vice-champion, Inter has been proactive in reshaping their squad, with some players leaving and several new arrivals.
The club has recently finalized the arrival of Yann Aurel Bisseck, a German defender of Cameroonian origin. This transfer has been officially confirmed by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano via his Twitter account. Inter will pay a buyout clause of seven million euros to secure Bisseck’s services from Denmark’s Aarhus. The talented young footballer is expected to sign a long-term contract during the course of this week.
Bisseck’s football journey has taken him from Koln to Denmark’s Aarhus. He initially joined Aarhus on a one-year loan from Koln in the summer of 2021. Following a successful loan spell, Aarhus exercised their option to purchase Bisseck for 670 thousand euros last summer. Prior to his time at Aarhus, Bisseck had stints at Roda in the Netherlands and Guimaraes in Portugal.
Notably, Bisseck has represented the younger German national team, earning 22 caps and scoring three goals. He also captained the U-21 national team, Elfa, showcasing his leadership qualities and potential.
Alongside Bisseck, Inter’s other notable signings this summer include Asllani, Frattesi, Acerbi, and Thuram. However, the club has bid farewell to Dzeko, Brozovic, Pinamonti, Mulattieri, Pirola, Hoti, and Skriniar, as they embark on new chapters in their careers.
