Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar acknowledges government funding of ₹369.20 crore for Guntur channel modernisation in Andhra Pradesh, which is projected to expand irrigated agricultural area from 27,000 acres to 75,000 acres and extend the canal by 27 km to benefit approximately 50 villages.
