Japanese chemical company JSR Corporation plans to construct a photoresist manufacturing plant in Taiwan to supply Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). This represents a strategic move by a major materials supplier to position itself closer to one of the world's largest chipmakers.
