US President Donald Trump has warned that Europe is on the verge of “civilisational erasure” due to mass migration, claiming the continent could be “unrecognisable” within 20 years. The President issued the stark warning to US allies in his highly-anticipated national security strategy, setting out priorities aligned with his “America First” worldview.According to the strategy, the US will seek to “cultivate resistance” in Europe and revive “Western identity”. It reads: “It is more than plausible that within a few decades at the latest, certain NATO members will become majority non-European.

“Should present trends continue, the continent will be unrecognisable in 20 years or less. “As such, it is far from obvious whether certain European countries will have economies and militaries strong enough to remain reliable allies.”The strategy lays out that the Trump administration plans to back right-wing movements across Europe, accusing the EU of suppressing free speech and silencing voices critical of migration. It notes: “American diplomacy should continue to stand up for genuine democracy, freedom of expression, and unapologetic celebrations of European nations’ individual character and history.”America encourages its political allies in Europe to promote this revival of spirit, and the growing influence of patriotic European parties indeed gives cause for great optimism.”The 33-page document outlined America’s foreign policy agenda, pledging that there will be no further expansion of Nato. It also took aim at European governments for frustrating efforts to bring the Russian invasion of Ukraine to an end. The document read: “A large European majority wants peace, yet that desire is not translated into policy, in large measure because of those governments’ subversion of democratic processes.”The strategy paper mentioned Britain only once, with the administration writing that “America is, understandably, sentimentally attached to the European continent – and, of course, to Britain and Ireland.DONALD TRUMP – READ THE LATEST:Donald Trump receives Peace Prize at Fifa World Cup draw: ‘One of the great honours of my life’Quarter of a million migrants from Donald Trump’s banned list have entered UK since 2021Donald Trump declares war on ‘insane’ electric cars and pledges to ‘kill the green new SCAM!'”The character of these countries is also strategically important because we count upon creative, capable, confident, democratic allies to establish conditions of stability and security.”We want to work with aligned countries that want to restore their former greatness.”On Wednesday night, Mr Trump reposted a Truth Social post which read: “We have two options. Deport every single 3rd world migrant, illegal alien and America hating visa holder.”Or surrender your nation the way the United Kingdom have, and watch your society collapse in the coming years.”Germany was quick to fire back at Washington, saying it can make its own decisions without “outside advice”. When asked about the strategy document, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said: “The United States is and will remain our most important ally in the [Nato] alliance.”This alliance, however, is focused on addressing security policy issues.“I believe questions of freedom of expression or the organisation of our free societies do not belong [in the US strategy], in any case at least when it comes to Germany.”Our Standards:
