Billionaire Mark Cuban on Saturday released what he deems “the thing to understand” about President Donald Trump.Cuban, who has clashed with Trump as the world leader has embraced richest man in the world and Cuban’s rival Elon Musk, took to BlueSky over the weekend to explain Trump’s behavior.”The thing to understand about Trump is like in his first term, he doesn’t want to govern,” Cuban wrote. “He doesn’t want to learn. He wants to campaign and look good.”ALSO READ: Inside the parade of right-wing world leaders flocking to D.C. for Trump’s inaugurationCuban further note that, “Republicans know this” about Trump.”So there are battles going on right now to take control of the actual process of governing,” Cuban wrote. “It’s easy for Trump to respond to talking heads and proclamations. He just talks to media and posts on socials. It’s hard for him to have control of the details of legislation beyond Exec Orders, because they take time, legal understanding and nuance. Which he has zero interest in.”Turning to recent events, Cuban said, “He doesn’t care about FEMA, NIH etc. He cares about talking about them.”The billionaire added, “Which is why it’s important for those entities to be proactive behind the scenes and realize that all they have to do is smile and give him credit for s— that isn’t really happening. [California Governor Gavin] Newsom understood this yesterday.”
